Aimtec made the decision to merge these two entities into itself based on developments in its business environment. Its subsidiary Aimtec Outsourcing was historically oriented towards near-shore services. Aimtec, in accord with its strategy, has stopped providing these. Aimtec Consulting was created in order to expand Aimtec’s product portfolio.
Aimtec’s business now comprises the provision of high added value services, licensed functional products, and software and service solutions. The subsidiaries’ existence has thus lost its justification.
“The merging of these entities is a natural culmination of the process of structuring our product portfolio. Throughout our 25 years on the market, we have collected know-how enabling us to help companies master complex and highly specific logistics and internal processes. After this merger, we will also be able to run a number of our internal processes more efficiently. Nothing is changing for our employees, nor for our partners in business. The successor company Aimtec a.s. is taking on all rights, responsibilities and obligations of the defunct subsidiaries,” states Aimtec’s CFO Rostislav Kubánek.
Aimtec was founded in 1996. It employs over 200 people and helps customers worldwide with digitalisation. It offers its own IT solutions for comprehensive management of manufacturing and logistics, which it integrates into a functional whole with first-rate technologies. Its focus is on the automotive industry, but also on companies in manufacturing, distribution and 3PL.
