Aimtec launches an innovation partnership with Bayern Innovativ and Bavaria’s Cluster Automotive

On 14 November 2018, Aimtec became a partner of Bavaria’s Cluster Automotive – and this also made it a part of the innovation network of Bayern Innovativ GmbH, the company that founded this cluster. This cooperation confirms the superb relations between Bohemia and Bavaria. Both companies are expecting a further deepening of Czech-Bavarian relations out of this cooperation, as well as information exchange and cooperation within innovation and technology transfer in the area of products and added value.

Both of these regions and their economies profit from Industry 4.0 – as a milieu, and as a set of fields. Bavaria, as the largest of Germany’s federal states, is also the most important trading partner for the Czech Republic. With its strong research and economic base, Bavaria is a strong innovation partner.

On the one hand, we’re finding opportunities to share our experience with Bavaria’s universities and industrial networks. And on the other, we’re confident that we’ll be able to present our digitalisation projects to a broader target group, as ‘Innovation Made in the Czech Republic’”, says Aimtec’s Executive Director Jaroslav Follprecht.
Holger Czuday, manager of the cluster at Bayern Innovativ, adds: “We’re delighted to have welcomed in Aimtec as another partner at Cluster Automotive. Cooperation between the Bavarian and Czech automotive industries is already superb today. And through its network, Bayern Innovativ wishes to contribute to a further strengthening of this cooperation. We’re staying true to our motto, “Living for Innovations”. Our good relationships also stem from the exchanging of experience”.
The cooperation between the two companies began back in October of 2018 at the IZB trade fair in Wolfsburg, where Aimtec participated as a co-exhibitor at the joint stand of Bayern Innovativ. For 2019, a meeting of associations’ members, workshops, and further trade-fair participation are planned.
