Aimtec is moving its headquarters into Pilsen’s most modern offices

“The new offices will let us improve several areas of our operations at once. These spaces will better match the character of our company – a software and technology firm – and will also be more efficient and environmentally friendly. We are increasing the ease of cooperation on our projects – these are growing more complex, and the teams that work on them often stretch across divisions. We are confident that all this will be reflected positively in our services’ quality,” says Chairman of the Board Roman Žák of this change.

Aimtec spent seventeen years in its former offices, which were spread across three different buildings. However, in recent years these have become unsuitable due to the need for more cross-team cooperation and the impossibility of further expanding them. The management, therefore, decided to seek a new site for a modern headquarters, with a building of Aimtec’s own as one option. Ultimately the project named Hamburk Business Center won out. The concept for this project, completed in 2019, was born at the PRO-STORY studio by architects Jiří Zábran and Markéta Škopková. The new spaces represent an attempt to maximally reflect Aimtec’s character and the trends of today.

“We spent several years seeking this new seat, and I am glad that we have ultimately found spaces that are very modern and that will push us forward yet again. We wish to retain ‘the Aimtec character’ – the values that connect us all, the ones with which we founded Aimtec back in 1996,” states CEO Jaroslav Follprecht, who adds: “One major motivation for the move was to make it easier to cooperate and share information. Another was to improve our image with current and future customers. And I believe that once we’ve fully settled in, our workplace itself will be one of the many benefits we offer.”

Aimtec engaged a wide team into the project already during construction. This was important, as the switch to activity-based offices was a major change for many of them. Their satisfaction at the new workplace will be increased by modern workstations, as well as a relaxation zone, a café, quiet zones and special rooms for phone calls. Aimtec believes that all of this will be positively reflected in its customer projects, and the level of services that it provides as well. The opening ceremony that led Aimtec into its new era was held on 6 January 2020. The company’s new address is: Hamburk Business Center, U Prazdroje 2807/8, 301 00 Pilsen, Czech Republic.
