The TAL 2023 Conference revealed the essential abilities for automotive logistics

What’s hidden backstage at a digital factory? The speakers at the 22nd Trends in Automotive Logistics conference searched for the answer. This conference was held on May 16 in Pilsen and brought in nearly four hundred participants. Its organisers – the digitalisation specialist Aimtec in cooperation with IHK Regensburg and DTIHK – made it their goal to provide a space for sharing real-world experience and verified approaches from digitalisation projects in automotive manufacturing, logistics and IT. What were the three central themes for this conference’s speakers? Resilience, flexibility and standardisation.

#AimtecHackathon 2023: Programmers helped people with disabilities. And unique, comprehensive projects were born in just 40 hours.

Over 70 hackers, 12 teams and precisely 40 hours of programming. All with a single goal – helping people with disabilities who brought the event with a whole list of problems they must face every day. That was #AimtecHackathon 2023 in a nutshell. Subtitled “When Code Helps,” it was held on 3–5 March at Pilsen’s Moving Station. What projects were born in these brief hours? And did they fulfil their tasks?

AimtecHackathon 2020: Biometrics, 3D printing and a children’s programme

The fifth year of #AimtecHackathon, to be held on the weekend of 20 March – 22 March 2020, will have several treats in store for visitors. Besides a battle of the hacking projects, it will also bring them a children’s programme and public presentations on the latest technologies. They can look forward to presentations by experts on biometric safety data, 3D printing, the digitalisation of agriculture and more. This event will be held at Pilsen’s Moving Station.

From a railway station to Google Play: A new gaming app was the winner at #AimtecHackathon 2019

On the weekend of March 8–10 2019, the fourth annual #AimtecHackathon was held at Pilsen’s Moving Station. It centred on a programming marathon in which participants had fantastic access to technologies, mentors and space for creativity. As for their creations, these were up to them. This year both the jury and the public awarded their prizes to the team named PSI for their gaming app. Yet the Hackathon had plenty to offer the children and the public as well. Meanwhile, this year was also record-breaking in several ways.

The fourth annual #AimtecHackathon will see participation by robots and international competitors

Aimtec is organising what is by now its fourth #AimtecHackathon, which promises an expanded programme and international speakers and teams – as well as several robots. Hardware and software development talents and the latest trends and technologies will reign over Pilsen on the weekend of
8–10 March 2019. Besides the main competition, the programme also includes presentations for the public and special workshops for children.
