Malfini is the producer of advertising textiles sold under the Adler brand. Since its market entry in 2000, Malfini has been one of the fastest-growing manufacturers and importers of advertising textiles in the Czech Republic. In 2010, Aimtec deployed the WMS within Aimtec DCIx here, along with integration into the firm’s Karat ERP.
This project then segued into the optimisation and management of Malfini’s warehouse technologies in the form of automated warehouse systems, Pick by Light and a conveyor, including points leading to the individual work centres. It was a challenge to implement the extensive changes to Malfini’s logistics processes and completely furnish its new “greenfield” distribution centre. The company recently invested into the purchase of AutoStore, a unique robotic storage system. AutoStore is controlled by Aimtec DCIx system, which sends requests for put-away and picking goods.
