Pilsen, 18 June 2024 – Aimtec, a Pilsen-based consulting and technology firm that has been supporting manufacturing and logistics companies along the road to digital transformation since 1996, is transitioning to a new CEO. For the first time in the firm’s history, it will not be headed by either one of its two co-founders. They are entrusting Aimtec to Pavel Boháč, an experienced manager who has so far been serving as the director of the company’s division dealing with planning and work with data.
“Our promise to our customers is that we will be not merely a supplier, but a partner guiding them through digitalisation – an unending process of change with the goal of supporting the sustainability and resilience of their business. To ensure that we will be able to keep this promise in the long term, we had to think about how we want Aimtec to be led in the coming years,” explains co-founder Roman Žák. He adds: “Jaroslav Follprecht and I have been at the helm of this firm for almost three decades, and we sought a path to the sustainability for our business. We sought a way to bring in a new CEO while keeping ourselves and our experience available to the management.”
Jaroslav Follprecht and Roman Žák will both be working as members of the supervisory board, from where they will be able to oversee the fulfilment of Aimtec’s long-term strategy and values, which are absolutely fundamental for the company.
“Pavel will be charged with not only developing our business activities and increasing the tempo of innovation in our solutions, but also managing our company’s growth while maintaining a strong company culture. Both our employees and our customers see this culture as our main differentiator from the competition,” adds Jaroslav Follprecht, Aimtec’s current CEO and second co-founder.
Pavel Boháč has been focused on the area of advanced planning systems since his very first days at Aimtec over ten years ago. In 2016 he took over as the head of the APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling) division – a role that gave him space to perfect his leadership skills and expand upon his consulting experience. He dealt with the preparation and implementation of strategy plans, sales and pre-sales activities and product management within the division. This work also had overlaps into the entire company’s business activities.
“Over the course of my work for Aimtec, I have had the chance to gain a detailed familiarity with our solutions, as well as how we work together on a human level, both inside and outside of projects. Alongside this, the owners and I have gone over a whole range of topics, which I would like to reflect in the company’s activities in the coming months, and also in the long term. This primarily means things such as developing cooperation with corporate customers and intensifying our presence on further markets such as Germany and the USA,” says Boháč of his vision for the company.
It was this vision, along with his results and personal qualifications, that convinced the supervisory board and the co-founders to choose him as the best candidate for the position of Aimtec’s new CEO. Pavel will take over this role on 1 July 2024, opening up a new chapter for him and for Aimtec.
